The 2010 Waterpolostar (WPS) Winter Squad Program will commence in the second week of July and carry on for ten weeks, concluding mid September. The Waterpolostar program will be based at Brisbane Grammar School at the MA Howell Indoor Sports Centre located at Gregory Terrace, Brisbane. Pool car park located off college street.
This year the WPS program will be split into two squads, an U/14's and a combined Open and U/18's. Both squads will see registrations capped at twenty to maximise coach to athlete ratio. The two squads will train at separate times with the younger age group training from 5.45m to 7.15pm and the Open & U/18's training from 6.45pm through to 8.15pm.
The program is open to all males and females registered with QWPI.
Daniel Marsden will head both squads with assistance from Brisbane based Queensland and Australian representaive senior water polo players. The program will be run in conjunction with the KFC Breakers National League Club.

Tuesdays - 13, 20, 27 July, 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 August and 7, 14 September
Thursdays - 15, 22, 29 July, 5, 12, 19, 26, August and 2, 9, 16 September

U/14's / 5.45pm - 7.15pm
5.45pm - 6.15pm: dry-land training, stretch and warm up
6.15pm - 7.15pm: pool component
Open & U/18's / 6.45pm - 8.15pm
6.45pm - 7.15pm: dry-land training, stretch and warm up
7.15pm - 8.15pm: pool component
Squad Fees
Registration is $300 per player for the twenty session program (30 hours of hands on coaching). All players will receive a WPS player pack consisting of backsack, t-shirt, drink bottle and swim cap.
Family Discount - WPS offers a 10% family discount for two or more family members.
Payment
Payment can be made by electronic transfer (our preferred method of payment) or cheque. All payments are to be received by COB on Tuesday 6th July 2010.
